I bet that, more often than not, you are very harsh towards yourself. I bet you focus on what you haven’t accomplished yet, what you did wrong, or what is not going well. Your inner critic can be an intense bully!
That is the reason I encourage my clients and everyone to be more kind to themselves.
I also encourage them to acknowledge and celebrate small achievements, as there are no big accomplishments without small steps!
When the inner critic speaks much more than the inner cheerleader, it can prevent us from feeling good about ourselves and enjoying the small and big pleasures. We start to believe that it is never good enough. 😢
Our inner-bully is often THE cause of unnecessary stress, anxiety, depression, and other physical and emotional issues. That is for adults and children! That is why we need to bring our inner cheerleaders out more often!
So, to inspire you to be more KIND TOWARDS YOURSELF and CELEBRATE YOU, I will “model it” by acknowledging that I am very proud of my recent accomplishment and newfound web designing skills!
In other words, I am proud of how my website FAQ came out. And I am celebrating it by kissing my shoulder! 💋
