Time is precious. Let’s act like it!

Life is short and time is precious.

Do you also feel like our days are moving too fast? Faster than ever?

How do you usually feel at the end of your day? Satisfied with how you spent your time? Or exhausted and not very accomplished.

More than ever is essential to have good skills in time management, reduce distractions and focus on what matters. But, more than managing what we do and the quantity of time we spend on activities, it’s crucial to manage the quality of time we spend and how we feel about it.

It doesn’t matter if we accomplish many tasks in a day. It matters if we feel that they are meaningful in the context of what is important for us. For example,  ….

We can go throughout the day like a lazy or annoyed teenager who was asked to clean their room: resisting, avoiding, complaining, talking back, getting distracted constantly, and swearing when reminded to be on task. Or not.

Circumstances, energy levels, and emotions may change and fluctuate. But, if we can keep a “high vibration” or an attitude of seeking the simplicity of satisfaction in each task, it can feel much better at the end of the day.

It’s not only about how much you have accomplished but how you feel about what you have accomplished and how much those activities really matter.

You can spend days and days completing tasks and more tasks and still feel like you are not going anywhere. why? Because what you are keeping yourself busy, or how you are keeping yourself busy, is not nurturing your soul.

Plus, you may have a lot of negative self-talk that tells you that wherever you do is never enough. If you have that kind of thought, you will never win.

Daily meditation is an excellent practice to help us separate thoughts and emotions from who we are. We are not our thoughts, our emotions, and neither our actions. But we are the creators of our reality and how we feel about it, and the attitude of how we construct each moment can change everything!

Do you rather be the annoyed teenager or the excited, curious child exploring new possibilities? Which one feels more lively? Also, you can do the grown adult who has taken responsibility for your live and how you feel and chooses to have a more lively life too!

Create your day by being very intentional, diligently making choices, and not just reacting to the environment, mood, or energy levels.

One way of improving the quality of our day – and life – is by being clear about what we want, what matters and how we want to feel about it. And, once we know what we want and how we want to feel about it, intuitively, we will know what you need to change.

And to help you connect with your intuitive knowingness to improve your days, I made a one-page worksheet (click here). It will also help if you feel overwhelmed, lost, or like you are wasting too much time every day.

As you adjust your daily focus toward what deeply matters to you,  you will improve how you feel about yourself, your relationships and your life.

At the end of your day, how do you want to feel about your relationships, work, money, and health? What can you do to feel that way more often? What can you change in your routine that will lead to that?

Be intentional about it.
